RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Mary E. Carney, a resident of Ridgewood, died Thursday, Feb.18. She was 89.
Carney was a longtime parishioner of Mt. Carmel in Ridgewood.
She is survived by her children, Richard and wife Cathy Carney, Michael and wife Kathy Carney, Dennis Carney, Joseph and wife Karen Carney and Maureen and husband Al Van Slyck; grandchildren Jamie Lynn, Kelly, PJ, Richie, Matt, Kate, Bill, Joey, Timmy, Tara, and Christine; and great-grandchildren Jack, Addison Grace, Josephine and Ryan James.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Daniel Carney,
There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church with interment to follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood.
