Ridgewood Supports Sanitation Worker In Wake Of Son's Death

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Community members in Ridgewood have established a fund to support family members of Michael White, a driver for the town’s sanitation department whose son died in a motorcycle accident in July.

Michael White, 25, worked seasonally alongside his father, according to a Go Fund Me page established by his father's friends in his name. By Sunday night, donations had been so generous the page nearly tripled the original goal.

White is survived by many family members, including his 22-month-old daughter.

A memorial fund in his name has been established to help with family expenses.
