Host Phil Jaeger will use current and historic photos to give a tour of the historic trolley line that carried North Jersey travelers from East Paterson to Suffern, N.Y., from 1910 to 1928.
The 15-mile line stopped in Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Waldwick, Allendale, Ramsey and Mahwah a century ago, when Bergen County was largely undeveloped.
The free talk begins at 2 p.m. in the Belcher Auditorium at the Ridgewood Library, 125 N. Maple Ave. in Ridgewood.
