RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- A lecture series exploring the meaning of life begins Monday, Aug. 29 at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood.The discussion takes place from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Room.
"The Meaning of Life: Perspectives from the Great Intellectual Traditions," is a 36-week survey of ideas from the Bhagavad-Gita through Aristotle, Confucius, Dao, Zen, Nietzsche, Gandhi, the Dalai Lama and more.
The class is free and open to all. The series is every Monday and includes a 30-minute DVD lecture and an approximate 45-minute discussion. No sign up or commitment is necessary.
The Unitarian Society of Ridgewood is located at 113 Cottage Place.
