RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – The New Yorker cartoonist Emily Flake will speak following the showing of a documentary, “Very Semi-Serious” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the library, 125 N.h Maple Ave., Ridgewood

The film looks behind the iconic single-panel New Yorker cartoon, featuring cartoon editor Bob Mankoff, Roz Chast, Mort Gerberg and others.
