'Smoked' Artisan Meat Shop Opens In Ridgewood

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A new grab-and-go restaurant specializing in smoked meats has opened on Godwin Avenue in Ridgewood.

Smoked serves up in-house smoked meats daily using natural ingredients and a "sinful" dessert menu, its Facebook page says.

All meats are smoked "without sauces or 'goop,'" and vegetarian dishes are marked by "smart points," the Smoked website says.

Chef Rob's family smoker was the focal point of gatherings, according to the website. He's been perfecting family recipes, some influenced by his travels — especially his "Tuscan-style approach" to food, the site says.

Smoked is located at 2 Godwin Ave., in Ridgewood.
