A family of four had to bail out of their Tesla after it got stuck on the railroad tracks near the Emerson train station. Man Struck, Killed By Train In Paterson
A man was struck and killed by a commuter train before dawn Wednesday in Paterson. The Main/Bergen County Line No. 1101 train struck him at the city train station around 2:15 a.m., NJ Transit said. There were no passengers and three crew members onboard. It had left Hoboken at 1:32 a.m. and was to arrive in Suffern at 2:41 a.m. Service was temporarily suspended as transit police investigated the circumstances.

Person Struck, Killed On Amtrak Railway In Trenton
A person was struck and killed by on an Amtrak railway on Thursday night in Mercer County, authorities said. The unidentified victim was on the tracks near Bridge and Ferry streets in Trenton when the fatal accident occurred about 10 p.m., said Amtrak spokesman Jason Abrams.
