Who Dumped Pitbull On North Bergen Street?
Authorities are working to determine who dumped a pitbull on a street in North Bergen. The neutered, male dog was dumped by a person in a Black GMC truck on 1505-52nd street North Bergen, the New Jersey Humane Society said. Anyone with information is urged to call Detective J Vangelokos at 201-392-2100. All calls will be kept confidential.

Beloved Sussex County HS Grad, Bio Technician Ashley Hipper Dies Suddenly At 25
Beloved Sussex County high school graduate and bio technician Ashley-Maria Hipper died suddenly at her home in Boynton Beach, Florida on Jan. 12. She was 25. Born in Denville, Hipper grew up in Glenwood and graduated from Vernon High School, her obituary says. Hipper then went on to earn a degree from Fortis Institute and was preparing to work as a bio technician, according to her memorial. Hipper was known for her passion for nature and animals. Stray Cat Strut: Frightened Feline Fetched From Lincoln Tunnel
A frightened feline was rescued from the Lincoln Tunnel early Wednesday after being stranded on – what else? – the catwalk. Maeghan Grant, a field supervisor in the tunnel's Operations Unit, traveled nearly the length of the tunnel’s center tube with trainee Christopher Lizotte following a motorist’s call before finding the cold kitten about 400 feet from the Manhattan exit, authority spokeswoman Lenis Rodrigues said.
