Police made a number of arrests at a Nutley house party Aug. 16 that was advertised on social media -- and drew a multitude of uninvited guests.

Officers investigating a noise complaint on Wayside Lane saw several dozen people fleeing as they arrived. Police later learned that the party had been announced on Snapchat and drew attendees from across North Jersey, many of whom were unknown to the resident, police said. A number of attendees were arrested or issued summonses following foot and vehicle chases, police also said.

They are:

Daniel Marte, 19, of Moonachie, who was charged with eluding and issued summonses for multiple motor-vehicle violations, including disregarding a stop sign, careless driving and failure to signal. He was released pending a court date.

Brandon Graham, 19, of Saddle Brook, and 19-year-old Anthony Ortiz of Hasbrouck Heights, who were passengers in Marte's vehicle, were each charged with possession of marijuana. They were released pending a court date.

Lionel Aladin, a 21-year-old Maplewood resident, is also accused of leading police on a motor-vehicle pursuit, He was charged with eluding and issued several motor-vehicle summonses including for failure to use headlights, driving while suspended and reckless driving. He was held at the Essex County jail.

Police also ran after and captured a Millburn teen who allegedly punched another person in the face. Tyler Calliet, 19, was charged with simple assault and eluding by flight. Calliet, who was also wanted on a Hawthorne warrant, was also held at the Essex County jail.
