LITTLE FERRY, N.J. -- Hilda Susana Gomez, a resident of Little Ferry, died Monday, March 7. She was 82.
Before retiring, she owned Eagle Hardware and Homeware in New York City. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Church in Little Ferry.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Gomez; children, Yvette Walters and her husband, Philip, of Singapore, Joseph Gomez and his wife, Michelle, of Holmdel, George Gomez and his wife, Maria, of Mahwah and Jeffrey Gomez and his wife, Tiffany, of Paramus; and grandchildren, PJ, Suzanna, Brock, Emma, Abigail, Alex and Isabella.
She was predeceased by her sister, Carmen Rita Solo; and brother, Emilio Gonzalez.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus.
There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Margaret's Cortona, Church, 31 Chamberlain Ave., Little Ferry. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
