RIDGEFIELD, N.J. -- Elizabeth Facendola, of Ridgefield, died Tuesday, Jan. 24. She was 89.
Facendola was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Teaneck. She was a secretary at Bright Steel in New York City.
After raising her children, she returned to work as a bookkeeper at Facendola Fuel Co. in Hoboken.
She is survived by children, Steven Facendola and his fiance Ashley Lanzara, Jerry Facendola (Susan Lui-Facendola) and Deidre Altobell (Joseph); grandchildren, Steven G. and Ashley.
The family will receive their friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, N.J.
The funeral is Friday, Jan. 27 from the funeral home at 8 a.m. to St. Matthew Church, Ridgefield for Mass at 9 a.m.
Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
