RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- An Eagles tribute band will take over the amphitheater at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park on Thursday, July 21 as part of the “Terrific Thursdays” free concert series.
EagleMania was formed in 2011 and takes great pride in its ability to perfectly replicate the Eagles catalogue.
In addition to all of the Eagles hits and album cuts, the band also incorporates some solo material by Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey.
The six-member band is comprised of Frankie Reno on keyboards and vocals, John Gaechter on guitar and vocals, Ken Darcy on guitar and vocals, Steve French on lead vocals, Jon Weiswasser on drums and Kevin Hummel on bass.
“We have spent countless hours breaking down everything The Eagles do on their albums so that we can faithfully reproduce these unforgettable songs in the most authentic way possible. We do not take liberties with their music. We play exactly what The Eagles played on their records. This gives our audience a chance to experience the music the way it was meant to be heard, and we do this live on stage night after night.” says founder Frankie Reno.
Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and run every Thursday through Aug. 4.
- July 28: Time Machine, covering all types of popular music.
- August 4: Beginnings, a Chicago tribute band, with full horn section.
The summer concert series is sponsored by Bergen County.
