Florida Sheriff Reveals How Brian Laundrie 'Probably' Died
The sheriff in the Florida county where Brian Laundrie's remains were found has shared how he thinks the fugitive likely died, according to a new report from the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Sarasota County Sheriff Kurt Hoffman in a statement during a panel with law enforcement leaders said he believes Laundrie died by suicide. Hoffman said Laundrie went out to the nature reserve where his remains were discovered and "by all accounts probably committed suicide,” the Herald-Tribune reported Saturday. A longtime friend of Brian Laundrie believes the late 23-year-old's parents may have exchanged information with law enforcement about his whereabouts for immunity, according to a report from The Sun. Gabby Petito Cause Of Death Revealed
The Teton County Coroner's Office on Tuesday released the cause of death of Gabby Petito. Dr. Brent Blue said the cause of death was strangulation and the manner was homicide. The 22-year-old Long Island native was killed three or four weeks before her body was found on Sept. 19, Blue said. Petito was last seen with boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23, who was identified as a person of interest when he returned home in Petito's van without her. The FBI confirmed that the remains found in Sunday in the Teton-Bridger National Forest were those of Gabby Petito, and the manner of death homicide.
