Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

31-Year-Old Man ID'd As Body Pulled From Merrimack River In Methuen: DA Authorities have identified a body that was pulled from the Merrimack River in Methuen this weekend as 31-year-old Ryan Cooper of Raymond, NH.  Cooper's body was found after officials responded to a boat ramp at 1110 Riverside Drive in Methuen around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports. Pedestrian Struck, Killed While Walking On Sidewalk In North Andover: DA Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed in North Andover this weekend, officials said.  The pedestrian was walking on a sidewalk along Massachusetts Avenue near Route 125 when they were hit by a Honda Civic around 1:30 p.m., the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports. The pedestrian was taken to Lawrence General Hospital where they were pronounced dead. Their identity has yet to be released.
