WESTWOOD, N.J. -- (UPDATE) A 77-year-old Westwood woman remained in serious but stable condition Tuesday after being struck by a sedan driven by an 86-year-old River Vale woman, authorities said.
The victim, who lives in a nearby senior citizens building, was struck by the green Chrysler Concorde just after 10 a.m. at Broadway and Irvington Street, Lt. Matthew McClutchy told Daily Voice.
She was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit with head and internal injuries, said McClutchy, the officer in charge of the department.
An investigation was continuing, the lieutenant said.
