Escobar runs World Class Sports Academy at Westwood's Pulse -- complete with a new, green turf where parents and tots can run around together.

The facility's grand opening will be on Sat., Oct. 17. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony slated for 10:30 a.m.

"As a mom of three, I know it is not always easy to juggle all our responsibilities in any given day, plus find time for fun, fitness, or socializing," Escobar said. "This is why I am truly excited to be a part of this business."

WCSA holds fitness classes in conjunction with the adult training sessions. "Mommy and Me" programs and private playdates or parties will also be offered on the turf.

The new family-oriented fitness center creates an opportunity for parents to exercise while their children are doing the same in a safe and supervised area.

The fitness center is complete with free wifi, a health-food cafe and an adult fitness center. "Hell's Kitchen" Season 10 finalist Dana Cohen is the resident chef in the Pulse cafe.

Escobar said WCSA's idea is simple: healthy mommy, healthy baby.

"With a 'Mommy and Me' class, it is a great opportunity to not only spend quality time with your child," Escobar said, "but it encourages movement and introduces them to socializing with other toddlers in a fun environment."
