WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. – Happy birthday to Woodcliff Lake native Fran Ganguzza!
Ganguzza, a writer and producer, turns 57 today.
Born Francine Ganguzza on July 28, 1959, she is the vice president, writer and co-producer of Starline Films, an independent film production and distribution company. Her works include “Harry...a Communication Breakdown” and the award-winning documentary “4CHOSEN: The Documentary.”
She was raised in Woodcliff Lake and attended Pascack Hills High School. She later pursued a bachelor's degree in visual communication at the Philadelphia College of Art.
She joined Starline Films in 2005. In 2006, she became a partner at Starline Films and played a key role in the writing, development and packaging of feature films “Old Stoneface,” “Anyone’s Son” and “Legends of October,” among others.
She worked on a collaboration with Jim Sheridan, six-time Academy Award-nominated filmmaker for writing, producing and directing “My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father” and “Brothers.”
