RIVER VALE, N.J. -- Get in a good workout and help dogs in need at the Hit It for Halfway Hounds fundraiser and adoption event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Title Boxing in River Vale.
The boxing workouts are $20 per class and all proceeds will go to Halfway Hounds, a nonprofit organization that gives owner-surrendered dogs or dogs that can't stay at a shelter due to lack of training a chance to become adoptable pets through obedience training, behavior modification and emotional rehabilitation.
The first class will be held from noon to 1 p.m. and the second class will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Participants will also have the chance to meet adoptable dogs next door to Title Boxing at Thomaston Feed.
