PARAMUS, N.J. -- Traffic crawled along Route 4 westbound in Paramus Monday due to roadwork that shut the right lane.
The roadwork under the Spring Valley overpass is part of a PSE&G upgrade of the statewide utility infrastructure.
The utility company is in the process of installing 69kV transmission circuits to connect PSE&G stations around the state.
In Bergen County, the new circuits will connect the Fair Lawn and Spring Valley Road stations, the Spring Valley Road and Paramus stations and the Spring Valley Road and Hasbrouck Heights stations, according to PSE&G.
