The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at the Exxon Gas Station on Route 23 South, according to New Milford police. A Maywood resident returned to her apartment on Tuesday, Nov. 19, to find a light on in the rear bedroom and assumed her husband was home, authorities said.
