Bogota Community Garden Holds Fall Clean-Up
BOGOTA, N.J. -- While the calendar says it’s the first full day of fall, the Bogota Community Garden is still bursting with the colors of summer.
“The garden still has most of the plants from the growing season still going strong,” said Nancy Guaman, head of the Community Garden. “Tomatoes, corn, peppers, pumpkins and cantaloupe, okra, cucumbers and more, are still growing.”
The Bogota Community Garden will host a fall clean-up on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 9 a.m., to plant fall flowers and prepare it for the upcoming season.
