Norwalk's 'Lit Crawl' Mixes Haikus With Happy Hour NORWALK, Conn. — The work of Walt Whitman, T.S. Eliot and William Shakespeare as well as many other renowned poets, will echo through several restaurants at the fourth annual Norwalk Lit Crawl. The event will take place Wednesday, April 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. The cost is $10, which will go to a good cause — Literacy Volunteers. Darien Police: Empty Box Turns Up But No Sign Of Stolen Stormtrooper Helmet DARIEN, Conn. — A Darien homeowner probably wishes he had the power of the force after the "Star Wars" stormtrooper helmet he ordered was stolen, police said. The package containing the helmet — worth about $200 — was stolen from his steps, according to Darien police. According to UPS, the package had been delivered on March 24 at 3:48 p.m., police said. Darien Police Investigating Spree Of Car Break-Ins DARIEN, Conn. — Darien police are investigating a number of car burglaries in town and believe that there may be two separate crime sprees involved, according to Darien police. Darien Police Charge NY Man With Threatening To Kill Ex-Girlfriend DARIEN, Conn. — A man who threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend last summer was arrested on multiple charges and held on $250,000 bond, Darien police said. Antonio Lucaine, 26, of 54 Church St. in Yonkers, was arrested March 20 on six counts of violation of a protective order and second-degree threatening. The arrest stemmed from a cellphone call made on Aug. 12, 2016, by Lucaine to the victim, who lived in Darien at the time, police said. Syracuse University Student From Weston Dies WESTON, Conn. — A senior from Weston at Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences has died, according to the Daily Orange.
