YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A note left in a dressing room frightened the customer who found it enough that police were called to the Paramus Park Mall on suspicion of a bomb threat that turned out to be bogus.
Authorities saw no need for a major response after reading the note, which essentially asked that an undisclosed figure of money be placed in a microwave “and I won’t blow you up.”
The Paramus Fire Department was on standby, but there was no need to pursue the matter further once police did a cursory check.
