Cynthia Roman, 39, of Tobyhanna, PA was being held on $75,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with various counts of theft.

Employees helped detectives identify Roman as the woman who snatched the items during nine different trips to the Garden State Plaza store, Deputy Police Chief Robert Guidetti said.

Detectives Norman Gin and Christopher Zuck worked the case and in January developed her as a suspect after sharing her description with mall security guards and store staff, he said.

Store employees called the detectives spotting Roman just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Guidetti said.
