According to Nassau County Police detectives, Daniel Valenzuela, of Elmont, sexually assaulted the 15-year-old female while employed as a security guard at Seawanhaka High School in Floral Park.
The incidents took place on multiple dates between June of 2019 and October of 2019, police said.
After an extensive investigation, Valenzuela was located at his residence and placed under arrest on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 12:40 p.m.
Valenzuela is charged with first-degree criminal sexual and third-degree criminal sexual act. He was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday, Dec. 6.
