Tribute: Dumont's Aram Manoogian Dies After Valiant Battle With Brain Cancer

Aram Manoogian of Dumont died on Jan. 17 after a valiant battle with brain cancer. He was 35 years old.

More than $45,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe for Manoogian's fight as of Monday afternoon.

"The only thing we could not buy was time," his mother Hasmig Kopooshian wrote on the page. "Aram fought for his life bravely and courageously. To say that he will be missed is an understatement."

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 22 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barrett Funeral Home in Tenafly. A funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Ridgefield. 

Interment will be at the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.

"If you knew Aram Manoogian you know how great of a guy he was," George Darrow wrote on Facebook. "I will never understand why the good die young! RIP brother... You are loved and adored by all who know you."

Joshua Williams remembered him as a "genuine person and a real friend."

Aram is survived by his wife, Natasha; parents Hasmig Kopooshian and Daniel Manoogian; siblings Alexa Corless (Michael), Haig (Samantha), Michael and Carly. He is also survived by his grandparents Ara and Arax Kopooshian; aunt Lisa Kopooshian; and nieces and nephews, Wesley, Eloise, Johnnie, Jamie, Jax, Morgan, Mia and Mya.
