Walk/Run At Paramus College Benefits Cancer Patients

PARAMUS, N.J. --The 2016 Paramus Walk/Run for Hope will be held Sunday, Sept. 25, at Bergen Community College in Paramus, rain or shine. 

The 2016 Paramus Walk/Run for Hope raises funds and awareness about CancerCare’s free, professional services, which is available to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis.

The event was organized to provide hope and help to anyone affected by cancer. It will raise funds and awareness about CancerCare’s free, professional services, which is available to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis.

The event schedule is as follows:

  • Registration/Check-In, 7:45 a.m.
  • Opening Ceremony, 8:30 a.m.
  • 5K Walk/Run for Hope Begins, 9:00 a.m.
  • Children's Fun Run, 10:30 a.m.
  •  Awards Ceremony, 10:45 a.m.

Pre-race packet pickup will be available for all pre-registered walkers and runners on Saturday, Sept. 24, from noon to 4 p.m. at Road Runner Sports, 65 E Route 4 West, Paramus.

CancerCare receives $1.50 for every race packet picked up that day.

Participants will be able to avoid the lines on Sunday morning and receive a coupon for discounts on RRS merchandise.

All participants will receive a Walk/Run for Hope t-shirt.
