The problem was discovered by Whole Foods Market employees whilst unpacking the product, which was mislabeled as a chicken salad products.
The 12.5-ounce individual plastic containers of “buffalo style chicken salad" were shipped to Whole Foods Market locations in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Bergen County has Whole Foods Markets in Paramus, Closter, Edgewater and Ridgewood.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
