'Pray For Saniya:' Sadness Spreads Following Death Of Girl, 6, In Bayonne Fire Sadness spread throughout Bayonne following the death of a 6-year-old girl in a fire Sunday, June 30. Firefighters found Saniya Felton unresponsive around 11:40 p.m., while responding to the flames and smoke that billowed from 438 Avenue C, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.  Saniya was taken to Bayonne Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after 1 a.m., Suarez said. John Meisenburg was found inside of a third floor unit after a fire broke out in a second floor unit at caround 11:50 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Meisenburg was taken to Hudson Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:52 a.m., Monday, Jan. 16.
