Pompton Lakes Student-Athletes Pick Colleges On National Signing Day

POMPTON LAKES, N.J. — Eight Pompton Lakes High School student-athletes selected their college teams on National Signing Day Wednesday.

Justin Wazaney will play baseball at Fairfield University. Farfield competes in the MAAC Conference under coach Bill Currier.

Daniela Lucca will play soccer at Caldwell University. Caldwell finished 2015 with a 11-9-1 record.

Mary Dougherty will play soccer at Pace University. Pace went 8-6-5 last season.

Ryan Gosiker will play football at Wesleyan University. Wesleyan went 5-3 last fall.

Samantha Lorenc will play field hockey at Mercy College. Mercy just named a new interim head coach in Deirdre O'Neill.

Dayna Wich will play basketball at Centenary College. Justin LeBlanc is in his first season as Centenary's coach.

Danielle Jenkin will play soccer at The College of New Jersey. Jenkin joins a team that went 13-4-4 last year.

Justin Stoll will play soccer at West Point. The soccer team reached the quarterfinals of its league tournament in 2015.
