"Great job, graduates!" the Wanaque Police Department noted in a Tuesday Facebook post. "The kids did a great job. All of the officers here are proud of the work they put in."
The DARE program -- Drug Abuse Resistance Education -- was first founded in 1983, in Los Angeles.
"Thanks to Det. Sgt. Cavallaro and Det. Carman for teaching the program and to Principals Charlie Frick and Celia Morales for letting us come in and work with the students," the police department continued.
"We would also like to say thank you to New Jersey Assemblyman Robert Auth for attending the graduation and providing special certificates to each child."
