Watch: Elizabeth Firefighters Battle Blaze In Home's Top Floor

Three firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a house fire that broke out in the third floor of an Elizabeth home Monday night.

The fire started around 9 p.m. at 419 Grier Ave. and went to two alarms before it was brought under control about an hour later. The fire rekindled and was quickly doused again.

A number of people were displaced, but a spokesperson for Elizabeth Fire Officers Local 2040 did not know how many.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation Tuesday morning.
