YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Kinnelon woman was killed in a crash while backing her car on the shoulder of southbound Route 287 in Wanaque early this morning, New Jersey State Police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
The woman’s Toyota Solara convertible swerved into traffic, was struck on the passenger side by an Audi SUV and got slammed into the median just before 7 a.m., Trooper Alina Spies said.
Four occupants of the SUV sustained minor injuries in the collision at milepost 55.9 near the Ringwood Avenue exit, Spies told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
The 43-year-old accountant, a Butler native, was pronounced dead at the scene.
