POMPTON LAKES, N.J. -- The Canal Society of New Jersey has installed an educational display about the history of the state’s canals in the Pompton Lakes Council chambers.
The display will be available for several weeks. Anyone interested in the history of the Morris Canal and the future Morris Canal Greenway can stop by for a look.
Those planning a visit with a large group are asked to contact the borough clerk at 973-835-0143 in advance of their visit.
