Rockleigh Home Volunteers Help Build Sukkahs For Those Who Can't

ROCKLEIGH, N.J. -- Volunteers are needed to help senior citizens and people with physical challenges prepare for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

Jewish Home at Home's Safely@Home (formerly Bonim Builders), a member of Jewish Home Family at 10 Link Drive in Rockleigh are offering the service.

They will help build sukkahs, a temporary shelter in which Jews gather to celebrate Sukkot.

Volunteers are needed to build the sukkahs Oct. 2 to 9 and Oct. 5 to 7; and on Sunday, Oct. 30 for disassembly.

All ages are welcome. 

Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

High school community service letters are provided.
