BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- Star Wars fans will be out in full force on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the DeLazier Field for Bloomingdale Pride Day. Members from the Northeast Remnant 501st Legion will gather from 12-4 p.m. with costumes they created that reflect the realism of the Star Wars movies saga.
The goal of the Legion is bringing the Star Wars universe off the big screen to help local communities.
The Northeast Remnant can be seen at many conventions and Star Wars-related events in the NJ/NY area, supporting charities through the love of Star Wars.
This event is brought to the community by the Bloomingdale Free Public Library, 101 Hamburg Turnpike.
DeLazier Field is located at 52 Ballston St. Bloomingdale.
