Military Dog Event In West Milford To Offer Insights About K9 Veterans

WEST MILFORD, N.J. — The most adorable members of the military will be available to be greeted in West Milford Township Library this month.

On Friday, May 20, to celebrate Armed Forces Week, Frank Yevchak and his dog Lucky will be stopping by at 4:30 p.m. to teach those in attendance about military working dogs, also known as four legged soldiers.

Yevchak founded Support Our 4 Legged Soldiers to raise awareness about military dogs and the work they do, as well as increase the care packages donated to them overseas. 

Donations are welcome at this program but not mandatory.

The library, 1490 Union Valley Road, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m., Sundays.
