Three generations of the Deckenbach family worked as farmers on the five-acre farm, which became known for its romaine lettuce and its green houses -- which were installed by the second generation.

Thousands of pumpkins and Christmas trees were sold each year.

The farm closing marks the end of an era for the family and customers both.

"I remember being a little girl and my Mom and I getting our vegetables from Grace sitting under a single tent and behind a few folding tables," Ann Corigliano said on Facbeook. "A long time ago! Such great memories! Thank you for being such an iconic part of the Township and all the best to you in the future!"

"Our family had so many great memories of your farm," Kurt Friedlin added. "From my daughters first ‘punkin picks’ as an infant with MLCDS 10 yrs ago to the hay rides to picking several Christmas trees this year - your team was always the best! You will be missed."
