Old Tappan Coach Has Teams Shoot 'Hoops For Autism'

OLD TAPPAN, N.J. — Old Tappan Girls Basketball Coach and current State Championship football coach Brian Dunn is kicking off the season on Sunday, Dec. 20 with a charity tournament to benefit Northern Valley's new program for teens and young adults with autism.

The 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. event will pit 8 teams against each other in the Northern Valley Old Tappan High School gym. 

This year's schedule is:

10 a.m.: Glen Rock vs. Pascack Valley

11:30 a.m.: Old Tappan vs. Albertus Magnus

1:15 p.m.: Secaucus vs. Dumont

2:45 p.m.: Westwood vs. Northern Highlands

All proceeds from the food, raffles and contests will benefit the new program for 18 to 21-year-olds with autism is a collaborative program between NVRHS and Region III.
