Harrington Park 3/4 Grade Team Wins Northern Valley Baseball Crown

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- The Harrington Park Athletics won the 3/4 Grade Northern Valley Baseball League championship by topping the Harrington Park Orioles, 7-5.

Captain Matthew Regnahan, 10, started Saturday's game and threw two shutout innings for the Athletics, then took off his jersey and gave it to a substitute because he had to leave for a prior commitment.

The Athletics also defeated Norwood and Northvale on their way to the title.
