OLD TAPPAN, N.J. — A former Old Tappan public school teacher is being honored by a new memorial at the T. Baldwin Demarest Elementary School.

The garden in memory of Nancy Middlemas, 54, formerly of Westwood and Waldwick, was unveiled earlier this month.Middlemas died this past August.

The Old Tappan Education Association, Old Tappan Parent Teacher Organization, Old Tappn Board of Education helped make the garden possible. 

Danielle DaGiau, Douglas Barrett, Forcellati Bros, Inc., Inserra Shoprite and the custodial staff contributed, as well.
