Northern Valley Students Earn First Place In STEM Competition

OLD TAPPAN, N.J. — The STEM Team at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan came in first place Feb. 10 at a meet at Fair Lawn High School.

The announcement came from Dr. Bruce Sabatini, Principal at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan, and Mr. David Janosz, NVRHS District Supervisor of Technology.

The STEM team, under the leadership of Steve Maietta, Technology Education teacher, was comprised of Basil Tweedy, Aiden Choi, Brent Cagen, and Steve Lee. The team's winning project was the design of a mini solar car.
