Harrington Park's Fried Named Bergen County Superintendent Of The Year

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- Harrington Park Distric Superintendent Adam Fried has been selected as Bergen County’s Superintendent of the Year.

Fried has helped transform the district into one of the top district’s in the state, increasing student achievement and developing cutting edge initiatives, according to a press release by the district.

He is the president-elect of the Bergen County Association of School Administrators, executive committee member of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators and has established the Northern Ignite Innovation Cluster for Northern New Jersey. 

Fried has received numerous awards and acknowledgements during his tenure such as the prestigious Jefferson Award, InnovateNJ Award and Creativity and Innovation Award. 

Fried is responsible for securing hundreds of thousands of dollars by taking advantage of state grants, as well as developing large consortiums allowing the district to put money back into the classrooms, according to a press release by the district. He currently is mentoring Ed-Tech startup companies to enhance technology in education.
