Cresskill Schools To Present Parent, Teen Workshop On Domestic Violence

CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Dr. Patricia Brown, a physician and child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist will discuss "Alternatives to Domestic Violence, Bergen County Department of Health and Human Services" from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Cresskill Middle and Senior High School Auditorium, One Lincoln Drive.

The workshop is for parents and teens and will teach the basics of a healthy relationship, how to start a dialogue in the parent and child relationship and address and recognize unhealthy dating patterns. 

This event is open to the community and surrounding schools.

According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, one in three adolescents in the United States is a victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner.
