Teen Charged With Felony For Stealing Merchandise From Yorktown Macy's

YORKTOWN, N.Y. — Peekskill resident Arthur G. Stokeley Jr., an 18-year-old man, was arrested and charged with grand larceny on Saturday, Nov. 12, according to a police report.

At approximately 5:55 p.m., Yorktown Police report receiving a call from the staff of Macy's, 650 Lee Blvd., claiming shoplifters were fleeing the store.

Police determined at the scene that Stokeley and three unidentified females allegedly stole merchandise valued at $1,383.96.

Police were unable to locate the three females, but found Stokeley in the mall, but outside Macy's and took him to police headquarters for processing.

He was released to a parent on $300 bail and is due in Yorktown Justice Court on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
