TAPPAN, N.J. – Richard F. Policastro, a longtime resident of Tappan, died Friday, June 17. He was 83.
He was born Feb.19, 1933.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; his son, Michael Policastro and his wife Kathy and their daughter Isabella Rose; his daughter Jill Martinez and her husband Jaime Martinez and their two children, Juliana and Alexander.
Visiting hours were at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan and a funeral service was conducted at the funeral home. Burial followed at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Hempstead, N.Y.
