NORTHVALE, N.J. -- Maddalena Puglia, a longtime resident of Northvale, died Wednesday, March 23. She was 83.
She was born in Aquara, Italy (providence of Salerno)
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Herskowitz and her husband, Wayne of Tappan; three grandsons, Brett, Erik and Jason; sister, Irene of Aquara, Italy; and brother, Lucido of Toronto.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony’s RC Church, Northvale with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery, Tappan. Visiting hours are from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., Northvale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local charity of one’s choice.
