TAPPAN, N.J. — Geraldine Florence Padial, 80, of Tappan, passed away July 9, 2016.
She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Luis H. Padial, who died in 2010.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Paul and their wives Cynthia Bing and Alyssa Rutchik Padia; her daughter, Carolyn Padial-Muncan and her husband T.J. Muncan; five grandchildren, Jackson, Julian, Helena, Jamie and Eloise; her step-children Ivan, Alexis and Luis; extended family Susan, Frank and Jackie; and brother, Gordon Smith and his wife, June.
As an occupational therapist, Padial touched the lives of many people while working in nursing homes, Rockland Psychiatric Center and as a teacher at Rockland Community College. She enjoyed art and painting, being an avid sports fan, shopping and entertaining her large circle of friends and family.
Visiting hours were at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. A funeral Mass was conducted at the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church in Tappan with burial following at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill.
