HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- Dorothea C. McDonough (nee Atkinson), of Harrington Park, died Saturday, Jan. 2. She was 94.
She was the wife of the late Patrick John McDonough; mother of Thomas A. of Washington D.C., Mary T. Young of Exton, Pa., John Patrick of Harrington Park, Jeanette McMullen and husband Steve of East Brunswick and Noreen McDonough of Starksboro, Vt.
She was predeceased by her son Michael P., granddaughter Amanda, grandson Christopher and sisters Winifred Boyce and Marion O’Neill.
She was the grandmother of Halley, Waverly, David, Sean, Brittany, Patrick, Deirdre and Caitrin; and great-grandmother of Orion and Liam.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Harrington Park and was a longtime member of the Rosary Society.
The family will receive friends at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Victories, Harrington Park, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be conducted at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Victories Church, 150 Harriot Ave, Harrington Park, NJ 07640.
