Dina 'Diny' Albach, 86, Former Carlstadt Resident

CARLSTADT, N.J. – Dina "Diny" (Dekker) Albach – a Rochelle Park resident, formerly of Carlstadt – died on Friday, March 17. She was 86.

Born in the Netherlands, Albach moved to America in 1955. She lived in Carlstadt for 52 years before moving to Rochelle Park. She was a longtime member of the Carlstadt Turnverein and Mixed Chorus, a member of the Carlstadt and Rochelle Park senior clubs, and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 170.  

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Banks, and Loeky Salvini and her husband Bob; grandchildren Dennis Banks, Sharon Banks, and Bill Cullen and his wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren Dylan, Cassandra and James; and sisters Engelien Groot and Marie Sloof. 

Albach was preceded by her husband, Ben.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., in Carlstadt. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Berry Lawn Cemetery, in Carlstadt.
